Ilios Noche opened it’s doors in Charlotte’s Ballantyne area in 2003, as a Greek fast causal restaurant, with a modern and open concept.  Their menu was quite unique, since offerings also included Italian staples, housemade pasta, freshly baked bread and desserts. Due mostly to the area and clientele, within the first year Ilios Noche converted from the fast casual restaurant, with walk up counter ordering, to a full service restaurant. With this change came a more extensive menu and full bar. They offered sit down service, a full bar with crafted cocktails and an expanded menu with more crafted plates and always fresh ingredients. In the summer of 2012, Ilios Noche closed it’s doors to expand and revitalize. When the doors reopened, the new, warm decor was even more inviting, they could accommodate twice as many guests and now had a beautiful new private dining area. Ilios Noche has become a staple and favorite in the Ballantyne area and will continue to move and change with the times and the needs of their loyal customers.

Big View Diner was conceptualized and opened in 2009, also in the Ballantyne area.  With it’s big exterior fins and neon sign, Big View Diner is hard to miss. Seating roughly 300 people, including counter top seating and large booths, Big View Diner still has a tendency to be on a wait some days. Everything about Big View Diner is BIG, from the sizable menu, which includes diner staples, Greek and Italian favorites, burgers, fresh meats and seafood and of course all day breakfast, to the freshly baked pastries and desserts. Don’t let the large menu fool you though, because Big View Diner prides themselves on making every item fresh and delicious, and with locally source ingredients. Big View Diner also consists of a full bar/lounge, covered outdoor patio, a large private dining room and of course the Big View Bakery. This allows everyone to find something they love at the Big View Diner.

Ilios Crafted Greek (ICG), Xenia Hospitality’s Greek fast casual eatery, opened it’s doors during the 2020 pandemic. Located in the middle of Charlotte’s SouthEnd district, they embrace the daily foot traffic this millennial concentrated area brings, looking for fresh, authentic Greek food on the fly. ICG gives the offering of fast food, but fresh and healthy.  ICG’s fare is truely authentic and delicious, because the menu encompasses the traditional Greek recipes, authentic Greek meat cooking process and the simplistic seasonings and ingredients. The hip, clean interior is eye catching and inviting with it’s crisp blue and white decor with wood accents.
